Another successful ‘High Tea’ was held on 18th March 2010 at the Botanical Gardens, Birmingham. WMQC were delighted to be joined by a large array of organisations including those recognised at Bronze, Silver and Gold level.

Advanced recognition is proving to be very popular with a significant increase in the number of organisations achieving recognition beyond the core Standard. These organisations proved to be an inspiration to those in attendance whom are commencing their Investors in People journey.

In celebration of organisations who are at various stages of their Investors in People journey, Investors in People West Midlands hosted another successful High Tea at Birmingham Botanical Gardens on 14th October 2009.

Organisations from across the region gathered to celebrate a range of achievements including Investors in People commitment, recognition and Silver and Bronze advanced recognition. Amongst the audience were several organisations celebrating a long service award (those who have achieved Investors in People recognition for greater than 10 years) - truly inspiring organisations for those in attendance who had either been recently committed or recognised.

The extended Investors in People Framework enables the outcome of an Investors in People assessment or review to be expressed in terms of Gold, Silver or Bronze recognition. Those organisations performing to an exceptionally high level currently represent the top 1% of recognised organisations. To celebrate the tremendous achievement of organisations achieving additional recognition, Investors in People West Midlands hosted High Tea at Birmingham Botanical Gardens on 13 July.

The Bullring Birmingham Shopping Centre continues to enjoy the benefits of putting its people at the very heart of its operations. Having first been recognised as an Investor in People in 2005, the Bullring has recently been successful in extending this accreditation for a further three years.

WMQC and Investors in People West Midlands confirmed the achievement following a review against the Investors in People standard. This assessment recognised the major strides made by the Bullring Birmingham as a result of its employee-focused initiatives.
